It's A Gymboree Day!

Jaiden started his Gymboree Play & Learn 3 class (10-16 months) in August.  He is absolutely having a blast!  We walk into the facility and bam... Jaiden leaps out of your arms instantly and is off running!  We often wonder if he even knows we are there with him?  Ok ok so he does!

We have found our home base class to be Wednesday morning at 9:15am.  The other classes fall at 12:15pm Jaiden would never make it!  He is down for nap #2 no later then 11:30am.  Therefore, we have to make sure we get to our Wednesday class or a make up class is almost always a no go!  However, this week we went to open gym on Monday and that was a great addition to his week!

The first day he was walking, running, climbing and sliding.  He was EVERYWHERE!
You name it he did it!  I started to wonder if he was in the right class?!

Riding the air log.  His favorite thing to do at Gymboree when he started was to push the air log as a team with all of the other little kiddos.  He would come home and practice pushing his play tunnel (since they are both primary colors and appear similar) until...lol he realized that it is light as a feather and doesn't work out so well!  We used to get a kick out of watching him try to figure out why his play tunnel wouldn't cooperate with him.

Teeter-Totter!
I found myself highly impressed when I could let go and he utilized all the core
he had to ensure he was doing it all on his own!!

Go BIG or GO HOME!
Apparently that is what Jaiden said when he ran to the large rocking horse.
He hasn't yet landed a foot on the cute little pony next to him.

1st Christmas gift on Santa's list this year...A rocker!  This boy loves to rock.  I can barely get him through Target we have to dodge the toys or he will be hollering and pointing endlessly
until we stop and spend some time to rock!!

His newest favorite... "slam dunk!" daddy taught him a few weeks ago!  :-)  He is just a tad short to make the rim but tries with every inch of his little body by stretching to reach on the very tip tops of his toes until he is sure...It IS GOING IN!  We can hardly stay with the group during our gathering at the end of class because he is ever so tempted to go play ball!!

The first Wednesday class we attended, Jaiden found a genuine concern for this little sweet girl Eleanor :-)  She slid into him gently on the parachute ride and he sat and held her until it was over.

The look he gave me was absolutely priceless!
It was a: "Mom this is what I am suppose to do right?"

Ever since that day he runs straight to Eleanor and just loads her with toys to play together.  She is an absolute doll and her mom and I have shared the numerous commonalities Jaiden and her have.

They are both September babes, just a few weeks apart!

Jaiden sitting next to Eleanor.  We hadn't seen them in a few weeks, but he found her right away and she was his best buddy!  He exchanged Halloween rubber duckies with her and they played with orange cones.  He even gave her his so she could have two and then went to find another toy ;-)

"Bubbles for Jaiden!  Bubbles for everyone..."
