Walking in a Winter Wonderland!
The true definition of our weather the past week. We definitely got hit with the freezing temperatures, snow and complete ice over here in Dallas!
School's out for WINTER...lol Ok Ok just a few days - but, to us Mommies, it just may feel like a slight bit more than that.
So, we hit the gym the past two days (I mean we do go regularly, but specifically speaking lol) so daddy and mommy could work out and Jaiden could play off a bit of his cabin fever.
(since he has been at the door - oh, just a few times saying: "bye bye!")
The walks down to the lobby to talk to the glowing reindeer outdoors isn't quite doing the job after being inside three days :-)
So...back to our arrival at the gym - countless, I mean kid city at its best!! Jaiden joined a possible 40-50 other kiddos in childcare at LifeTime Athletic. It was a kid party I tell ya. The ladies locker room was too funny all of the moms and "what to do with the kids?"; this was definitely a challenge, especially for those who have lost their heat or experiencing frozen pipes! Thankfully, we have been in full operation and warmth throughout the extreme cold weather conditions. I was feeling pretty fortunate after hearing all of the dynamic experiences taking place.

What a fun day!! A definite do over again soon. Sanity social hour for the mommas and endless entertainment for the kiddos! Jaiden blew kisses out the door with his "bye bye" and shed just a few tears. He really was sad to see his buddies go, but...he will see them at 9:15am sharp tomorrow morning for their Gymboree workout!!
These three make that class look like a fitness fair lol - they run endlessly!!
Jaiden concluded his evening with a few bites of dinner, a bath and our evening prayer: "Mamen" he has got it down right when I say: "In Jesus Name", he says: "Mamen" It absolutely melts my heart over and over again!! He gives me a big squeeze with a "Grrr", a sweet kiss and then our closing prayer. Once he lays his head down:
"How much does daddy and mommy love you?" his hands fly in the air above his head and he smiles!
