Jaiden's 1st Day of School!

Jaiden's 1st Day of School

@ Northway Christian Day School!

After several conversations between Daddy and Mommy about what is going to be the right fit for Jaiden, we trust that we have found it!!  We are both feeling ultra blessed and at peace with our decision for Jaiden to attend NCDS.  He has officially started his journey of a few hours of fun twice a week!  We believe that this will give Jaiden a well-rounded balance in life and Rod and I a small breather?! lol ;-P  Ok, maybe just a few hours to clean house? go to lunch?

A brief tour of Jaiden's new adventure...

Jaiden's Cubby!

These are my teachers, Mrs. Marissa and Mrs. Rigat :-)

Welcome Aboard!!!

Jaiden is in a infant/toddler bridge class.  This is an age group suitable for him, since he is just shy a month or two for the Toddler 1 class due to his early September birthday.  He seems to fall perfectly with the little kiddos in this class all summer/early fall birthday babes!

My first day Friday, November 1st was a success!!  I walked in all smiles waving to everyone at the wake of the morning and then at the close of the day Mrs. Marissa shared with Mommy what a great first day I had.  Mrs. Rose came for music class (she comes twice a week) she brought a wide variety of fun music toys and we sang several songs.  Mrs. Marissa shared that I led the class showing my "this little light of mine" ;-)  I learned it from my Sunday School CD that is my ultimate favorite in the car with my Daddy and Mommy.  I took a 2 hr nap and was so tired I fell right asleep.  While Mommy and I walked out of school a Toddler 2 teacher approached us and shared how happy I was on the playground!!  Stay tuned for the fun ahead... xoxo

Trick or Treat! Halloween 2013

Jaiden was beyond ready for his Halloween Trick or Treat!  The whole time he was getting dressed: "Grrr Grrr Roar!"  lol  He was preparing quite well for his character role play as a

Baby Lion :-)

Ready to go!

Just need my treat basket...

Treats!

I am not so sure about this?

So...lol Jaiden waited too see if mommy was going to trick or treat.  As soon as he saw me stick my hand in the basket and pull a treat out, it was over...candy galore!!!  He took 1, 2, 3...I think he thought he was suppose to fill his basket haha!!  Grammy helped him out, she showed him two Jaiden size treats... lollipop + twix = Perfect 1 year old Halloween!

Oh YES!  I see the candy - I am SURE about this!! :-p

This blue sucker had me busy for a good half hour.  It was absolutely delicious.

I was in Heaven!!

In my own place where no one can get my candy...

Guess what I was eating?  A blue lollipop?!  Yes, that is correct my whole mouth was blue!!

Yay!  Happy Halloween - that sugar gave me endless energy!

Where else can we do this trick or treating?  This is too fun!!

That is not blue lollipop drool lol!!!

Is there anymore candy out here?
Where else can we go?

Today was a great day!!

Grrrrrrr, Roar, Roar... Baby Lion in action!!

Sending a big Halloween smile your way!!!

thank you Sue! ;-)

It's A Gymboree Day!

Jaiden started his Gymboree Play & Learn 3 class (10-16 months) in August.  He is absolutely having a blast!  We walk into the facility and bam... Jaiden leaps out of your arms instantly and is off running!  We often wonder if he even knows we are there with him?  Ok ok so he does!

We have found our home base class to be Wednesday morning at 9:15am.  The other classes fall at 12:15pm Jaiden would never make it!  He is down for nap #2 no later then 11:30am.  Therefore, we have to make sure we get to our Wednesday class or a make up class is almost always a no go!  However, this week we went to open gym on Monday and that was a great addition to his week!

The first day he was walking, running, climbing and sliding.  He was EVERYWHERE!
You name it he did it!  I started to wonder if he was in the right class?!

Riding the air log.  His favorite thing to do at Gymboree when he started was to push the air log as a team with all of the other little kiddos.  He would come home and practice pushing his play tunnel (since they are both primary colors and appear similar) until...lol he realized that it is light as a feather and doesn't work out so well!  We used to get a kick out of watching him try to figure out why his play tunnel wouldn't cooperate with him.

Teeter-Totter!
I found myself highly impressed when I could let go and he utilized all the core
he had to ensure he was doing it all on his own!!

Go BIG or GO HOME!
Apparently that is what Jaiden said when he ran to the large rocking horse.
He hasn't yet landed a foot on the cute little pony next to him.

1st Christmas gift on Santa's list this year...A rocker!  This boy loves to rock.  I can barely get him through Target we have to dodge the toys or he will be hollering and pointing endlessly
until we stop and spend some time to rock!!

His newest favorite... "slam dunk!" daddy taught him a few weeks ago!  :-)  He is just a tad short to make the rim but tries with every inch of his little body by stretching to reach on the very tip tops of his toes until he is sure...It IS GOING IN!  We can hardly stay with the group during our gathering at the end of class because he is ever so tempted to go play ball!!

The first Wednesday class we attended, Jaiden found a genuine concern for this little sweet girl Eleanor :-)  She slid into him gently on the parachute ride and he sat and held her until it was over.

The look he gave me was absolutely priceless!
It was a: "Mom this is what I am suppose to do right?"

Ever since that day he runs straight to Eleanor and just loads her with toys to play together.  She is an absolute doll and her mom and I have shared the numerous commonalities Jaiden and her have.

They are both September babes, just a few weeks apart!

Jaiden sitting next to Eleanor.  We hadn't seen them in a few weeks, but he found her right away and she was his best buddy!  He exchanged Halloween rubber duckies with her and they played with orange cones.  He even gave her his so she could have two and then went to find another toy ;-)

"Bubbles for Jaiden!  Bubbles for everyone..."
